The Future of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Windsor

Considering the Options

Windsor, 3 May 2016:  After 120 years of serving Christ in the heart of Windsor, and at their Annual Meeting on Sunday 28 February 2016 the people of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Windsor wrestled with the serious financial realities facing their congregation and by secret ballot prioritized the options facing the congregation.  Those options, in order of priority, are:

  •  - To start a new creative ministry in downtown Windsor;
  •  - To amalgamate with another Presbyterian congregation in Windsor; or,
  •  - The dissolution of the congregation.

All of the options would include the sale of the St. Andrew’s church and property.
