Sunday School
Sunday School at St. Andrew's is offered during services to children in grades kindergarten through eight in the months of September through June.

The children are sorted into 'classes' by age and sent to one of five stations, or workshops. For a five week cycle the children learn about topics in an assortment of ways, each workshop offers a new lesson or way of teaching a topic. Each week the students move to another station to learn in a new, and exciting way.
During summer months children in kindergarten through grade six are invited to attend 'Junior Church' where a new lesson is prepared weekly. In the mean time grade seven and eight students are able to become accustomed to the regular service.
The Five 'Workshops' are:
Celestial Cinema
The first station is Celestial Cinema where the children go to watch movies on a big screen, with popcorn and drinks. The movie always relates to whatever topic is being used for the current rotation. This allows the children to visualize the topic while relaxing and enjoying the comforts of a movie theatre setting.
Creation Station
Creation Station is our arts and crafts centre. Here the children make a craft once again relating the topic of that rotation. Things are a little messy, but always creative.
Parable Power Centre
Parable Power Centre is our computer room for the children. We use Sunday Software or online websites for activities for the children to do. We have age appropiate software which is user friendly for both young and old.
Riptide Cafe
Riptide Cafe always has something good cooking! The children learn their lesson through food, and after they finish they are rewarded by eating their masterpieces. Something good is always being mixed up there. We are always conscious of allergies.
Galilean Playhouse
Galilean Playhouse is our games area. The children learn through experiencing a game which illustrates the topic of that rotation lesson. There is always something fun and exciting happening in that area.
